Edgenta Mediserve Collaborates with JSJN on the Disposal of Drugs at Kamunting Plant


Edgenta Mediserve collaborated with Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik (JSJN) to dispose various type of drugs worth RM2.8 million seized from 3,806 cases.

The event which was held at Edgenta Mediserve Kamunting Incineration Plant on 20 October 2016, was led by V.R. Ravi Chandran, Head and Assistant Commissioner of JSJN Perak; Ahmad Zamri Said, Managing Director of Edgenta Mediserve; officials from JSJN; and Operations team from Edgenta Mediserve.

The drugs disposed comprised of heroin, marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy​, eramine and others from the seizure by JSJN from 14 districts in Perak, and cleared by the court over a period of 10 to 15 years.
